Randomly saw Runescape pop up on the app shop and OSRS gold educated me RuneScape exists. I've heard bits about it over the years, but seems like it is still going on strong. What kind of MMO is this? What is RuneScape like right now? At first it sort of reminds me of Ultima Online with images, is that at most accurate? A buddy of mine and I'm searching for something to play together, that offers experience. Neither of us have played Runescape. For can you'sell' me RuneScape? Fun parts items that may not be common knowledge about things and features you can do in RuneScape, etc? Runescape is a game that is superb. Its quests are somewhat different. Training stats continuously unlocks updates, and on RS3, grinding is not too bad. You will literally NEVER run out of things to do. There are hardcore ironman : ironman, normal, or even numerous modes you can play. A standard account has no limitations, an ironman cannot trade with RuneScape players, and a hardcore cannot trade and just has 1 lifetime. Frankly, they aren't that bad, although most folks would say that the biggest downside is the microtransactions. They act as a daily increase. Some folks don't enjoy that, not sure where you stand on it. Highly recommend. The things which could differ from other mmo's is that you proceed with your mouse, what's tile and your actions are tied into the slow tickrate of RuneScape. These are the worst things about RuneScape when comparing it to other mmo's. Theres also a lot of microtransactions but there are mmo's that do it far worse than rs does and you can totally ignore them where you simply use the free things they give as it could be kinda silly not to use free stuff just given for you. Its graphically somewhat outdated so you are probably not likely to spend a whole lot on microtransactions for products that are cosmetic. As for some good things about RuneScape I'd say theres a lot to do along with my personal favourite thing about RuneScape is that it's things to do outside of fighting things just to combat things. Theres 28 abilities in total of which 8 or 9 are combat skills (depending how you specify combat ability ). For group actions to perform co-op stuff with a friend theres an incredible variety of things to buy RuneScape gold do starting from combat activities like bossing and elite dungeons to an whole ability you can train doing together (dungeoneering) where you go through a dungeon to defeat a boss in the end. Theres also matters such as co-op slayer which lets you perform the slayer skill collectively where you receive a job to do'x' amount of creature kills.
